  • Burmese Refugee Jewelry Design Project

    Treasured is building an education program to support the New Blood School in Mae Sot Thailand. The school supports at risk Burmese children in Thailand.

    Treasured is working towards the diversification of the glossary of sustainable gem and jewelry sector terms firs created by the Jewelry Industry Summit

Upcoming Initiatives

  • HEART ON YOUR SLEEVE INITIATIVE

    A Burmese embroidery workshop will be setup to work with gemstone beads. Mining communities will also be setup to tumble and drill beads to create jobs from low grade, small rough that would otherwise have no value.

    This will a sustainable business model to create ongoing business for the embroidery workshop to purchase gem beads and supply Treasured with a finished product.

  • ZERO FUEL MECHANIZED ARTISANAL MINING

    Treasured is currently developing a low cost and highly efficient artisanl mining equipment setup that uses no fule other than hand/human power. This will allow for a dramaitc increase in ASM efficiency and lower environmental impact.

  • KENYAN TSAVORITE MINE REDEVELOPMENT

    Treasured is working towards the redvelopment of the a Kenyan green garnet mine (tsavorite) owned by Dorcas which was destroyed by a stampede of red elephants.
